Strikeforce Challengers 8: Lindland vs. Casey took place on Friday, May 21, at the Rose Garden Arena in Portland, Oregon.

Matt Lindland got back on the winning track in his middleweight match with Kevin Casey. After surviving a rear-naked choke attempt from Casey in the first round, Lindland managed to dominate his opponent and earn a TKO win in the third round.

The co-main event saw welterweights Tyron Woodley and Nathan Coy in a back-and-forth battle for three rounds. Woodley walked away with a split decision. Roger Bowling fought Bobby Voelker in a welterweight bout that ended after Voelker accidentally landed an eye poke to Bowling in the third round. Bowling was the victor by unanimous decision.
