UFC Primetime: St. Pierre vs. Hardy Draws Record One Million Viewers
Spike TV announced on Thursday the premiere episode of UFC Primetime: St. Pierre vs. Hardy drew a record one million viewers, for a 1.1 overall rating, during the 10 p.m. ET/PT timeslot on Wednesday, March 10.
The show features three half-hour episodes centered around the preparations of UFC welterweight champ Georges St. Pierre and Dan Hardy leading up to their main event fight at UFC 111 on March 27 in Newark, New Jersey.
UFC Primetime first ran in January 2009 to hype the match between St. Pierre and BJ Penn in the headliner of UFC 94. The debut episode held the previous record of 880,000 viewers.
The remaining two episodes of UFC Primetime: St. Pierre vs. Hardy are set to air March 17 and 24 on Spike TV at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
