The Ultimate Fighter 11: Team Liddell vs. Team Ortiz Episode 1 Recap

The first episode of The Ultimate Fighter 11: Team Liddell vs. Team Ortiz premiered on Wednesday, March 31, at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Spike TV.

The show begins with the 28 middleweight fighters stepping into the new UFC training center. UFC President Dana White welcomes the competitors and introduces the season’s coaches, Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz.

White explains the new wild card format, which will allow two fighters that get eliminated in the preliminaries to receive a chance at the final remaining spot in the quarterfinals. Following the speech from White, the fights to get into the TUF house are underway.
