Cub Swanson vs. Chan Sung Jung Plus More Made Official For WEC 48
The WEC made several bouts official on Friday for its upcoming WEC 48: Aldo vs. Faber event.
Those newly added fights are Cub Swanson vs. Chan Sung Jung, Brandon Fisher vs. Tyler Toner, Takeya Mizugaki vs. Rani Yahya, and Brad Pickett vs. Demetrius Johnson.
WEC is scheduled for April 24 at the ARCO Arena in Sacramento, California. The event marks the organization’s debut on pay-per view. Headlining the card is a featherweight title fight between champ Jose Aldo and former champ Urijah Faber.
The co-main event features lightweight champ Ben Henderson defending his belt in a rematch against Donald Cerrone. Also on the card is former featherweight champ Mike Brown taking on rising contender Manny Gamburyan.
