Rothwell Pulls Out Of UFC 110, Sinosic vs. Haseman Cancelled
The UFC announced on Thursday that heavyweight Ben Rothwell has pulled out of his scheduled bout with Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic at UFC 110.
Rothwell suffered an illness and has been replaced by Anthony Perosh.
Also, a light heavyweight fight between Elvis Sinosic and Chris Haseman has been cancelled, due to an injury to Sinosic’s shoulder.
UFC 110 will eminate February 20 for the first time from the Acer Arena in Sydney, Australia. The event is headlined by Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira vs. Cain Velasquez in a match that could have major heavyweight title implications. In the co-headliner, Wanderlei Silva makes his much anticipated middleweight debut in the organization against Michael Bisping.
