Josh Koscheck Not Afraid Of Standing Up With Paul Daley
Josh Koscheck, coming off a win over Anthony Johnson at UFC 106 in November, has made it clear he wants a rematch with welterweight champ Georges St. Pierre. However, standing in his path for redemption is Paul Daley, who burst onto the UFC scene with two back-to-back victories in the first round, possibly setting himself up for a title shot with a few more wins.
Koscheck recently spoke with Cagewriter about Daley and mentioned he isn’t afraid of standing up with him during their fight.
“I plan on rearranging them teeth in his mouth,” said Koscheck. “He already has those braces and those messed up teeth. So maybe we’ll put some railroad spikes in there. Don’t be afraid to talk a little bit to entice me to stand. Because I have good standup and I have a good chin. I have a lot of power, and if I put my right hand on your chin, you’re going to go to sleep.”
The fight between Koscheck and Daley is expected to co-headline UFC 113 on May 8.
