Daniel Roberts To Replace Anthony Johnson At UFC On Versus 1 Event

UFC welterweight fighter Daniel Roberts has replaced Anthony Johnson in his bout with John Howard at UFC on Versus 1, according to a report by the Boston Herald on Sunday.

Johnson pulled out of the fight due to a knee injury.

Howard (13-4) is currently on a six-fight winning streak, including a recent third-round knockout over Dennis Hallman at the TUF 10 Finale in December.

Roberts (9-0) will be making his debut in the UFC. In his most recent outing, he defeated Anthony Masias via submission in the first round in January at 5150 Combat League.

UFC on Versus 1 is scheduled for March 21 at the 1st Bank Center in Broomfield, Colorado.
