Dan Henderson And Tyron Woodley Added To EA Sports MMA

EA Sports recently announced that Dan Henderson and Tyron Woodley have been added to EA MMA.

Henderson is a former Pride FC welterweight and middleweight champion. He currently fights in Strikeforce.

Woodley, a rising star in mixed martial arts, also competes in the Strikeforce promotion.

The two new additions have brought up the game’s roster to 28 fighters, including Fedor Emelianenko, Randy Couture, Frank Shamrock, Gegard Mousasi, Cung Le, Brett Rogers, Jake Shields, Renato “Babalu” Sobral, Jason “Mayhem” Miller, Nick Diaz, Gilbert Melendez, Josh Thompson, Frank Trigg, Robbie Lawler, Bobby Lashley, Marius Zaromskis, Scott Smith, Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza, Matt Lindland, Muhammad “King Mo” Lawal, Shinya Aoki, Hidehiko Yoshida, Melvin Manhoef, Jay Hieron, Joe Riggs, Nick Thompson, and Tim Kennedy.

Also in the game are Strikeforce commentators Frank Shamrock and Mauro Ranallo, along with ring announcer Jimmy Lennon Jr., and referee “Big” John McCarthy.

EA Sports MMA is scheduled to be released in fall 2010 on the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles.
