Prangley vs. Amoussou Set For Strikeforce Challenger VI On February 26

Strikeforce announced on Thursday a main event fight between Trevor Prangley and Karl Amoussou for Strikeforce Challengers VI.

The event is scheduled for February 26 at The Civic Auditorium in San Jose, California.

Prangley (22-5), a veteran Strikeforce fighter, currently holds the MFC and Shark Fights light heavyweight titles. He is on a five-fight win streak.

Amoussou (11-2-1) will be making his debut in Strikeforce. He has won his last three bouts, with two submission stoppages and one knockout.

The organization also announced for the card Sarah Kaufman vs. Takayo Hashi for the first-ever Strikeforce women’s 135-pound title, along with James Terry vs. Tarec Saffiedine, and Raul Castillo vs. Yancy Medeiros.

Strikeforce Challengers VI: Prangley vs. Amoussou airs live at 11 p.m. ET/PT on Showtime Sports.
