Following the recent success of UFC Prelims, Spike TV announced on Wednesday that it will broadcast ten shows live for the biggest pay-per-view events in 2010.

The first two major events to be preceeded by the show are UFC 108: Evans vs. Silva on January 2, and UFC 109: Couture vs. Coleman on Febuary 6. Two to four preliminary fights will air during each broadcast, depending on the length of the bouts.

UFC Prelims debuted on Spike TV on September 19, serving as a lead-in for the main card of UFC 103: Franklin vs. Belfort on PPV. The show then aired live twice more in 2009, garnering an average of 1.4 million viewers on each occasion.
