Under Armour Signs Georges St. Pierre to Multi-Year Endorsement Deal

Under Armour announced on Thursday it has signed UFC welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre to a multi-year endorsement deal.
“It is quite an honor for me to represent Under Armour. I have always appreciated the quality of their products, and to be partners with them is a dream come true,” said St. Pierre.
The performance apparel and footwear company will be featuring St. Pierre in several of its upcoming campaigns, including Fitted ColdGear, Underwear, Recharge Suit, and New Coreshort.
St. Pierre is the first mixed martial arts fighter to sign an endorsement deal with the company.
“Not only is Georges one of the biggest stars in one of the fastest growing sports in the world, but his dedication to training and making himself the best at what he does aligns perfectly with our Brand’s mission to make all athletes better,” said Under Armour Senior Vice President Steve Battista. “When we found out that he was a fan of ours, we jumped on the opportunity to bring him into the Under Armour family.”
St. Pierre will be joining a roster of top athletes currently signed with UnderArmour, including NFL Super Bowl champions Ray Lewis and Brandon Jacobs, MLB stars Ryan Zimmerman, Nick Markakis, and Alfonso Soriano, and U.S. Olympian Lindsey Jaobellis.
