Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira vs. Cain Velasquez Possible for UFC 108 in January

A heavyweight fight between Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Cain Velasquez is possibly taking place at UFC 108 on January 2 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The bout was first reported by Sensei SporTV.
Nogueira, a former UFC interim heavyweight champion, holds a record of 32-5-1 with 1 no contest. He last competed at UFC 102 in August, defeating Randy Couture by unanimous decision.
Velasquez, who is undefeated at 8-0, is coming off a second-round TKO victory over Ben Rothwell at UFC 104 in October.
UFC 108 is expected to feature a main event heavyweight title fight between champion Brock Lesnar and Shane Carwin. The co-main is expected to feature a light heavyweight fight between Rashad Evans and Thiago Silva.
