Strikeforce Challengers 5: Woodley vs. Bears Set to Take Place on November 20

Strikeforce officially announced on Thursday that Strikeforce Challengers: Woodley vs. Bears will take place on November 20 at the Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kansas.

Headlining the event is a welterweight match between Tyron Woodley and Rudy Bears.

Woodley, who holds a mixed martial arts record of 4-0, recently defeated Zach Light via second round submission at the Strikeforce Challengers 4: Kennedy vs. Cummings event in September.

Bears has a record of 10-3 and is coming off a TKO victory over Brendan Seguin at M-1 Global: Breakthrough in August. He is currently on a six-fight win streak.

Strikeforce also officially announced several other match-ups for the event, including Bobby Voelker vs. Erik Apple, Aaron Rosa vs. Rafael “Feijao” Cavalcante, Kim Couture vs. Kerry Vera, and Sarah Kaufman vs. Takayo Hashi.

Showtime will be televising the event live at 11 p.m. ET/PT.
