The UFC confirmed on Wednesday that a lightweight match-up between Frankie Edgar and Kurt Pellegrino will co-headline The Ultimate Fighter 10: Heavyweights Finale on December 5 at The Pearls at The Palms Casino & Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Edgar, who holds a mixed martial arts record of 10-1, is coming off a unanimous decision win over Sean Sherk at UFC 98 in May.

Pellegrino, with a record of 14-4, recently defeated Josh Neer via unanimous decision at UFC 101 in August. He is currently on a three-fight win streak.

The TUF 10 Finale is headlined by a light heavyweight fight between Jon Jones and Matt Hamill, and features the finals of the TUF 10 competition.

Spike TV will have a live broadcast of the event at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
