The weigh-ins for DREAM.12 took place on Saturday, October 24, in Osaka, Japan.

All 18 competitors fighting at the event made weight on their first attempt, except for Wong Sik Park, who intially weighed-in at 156.2 pounds. He made weight on his second attempt at 154 pounds.

DREAM.12 takes place on Sunday, October 25, at the Osaka-Jo Hall in Osaka, Japan. The event is headlined by a fight between Strikeforce heavyweight champion Alistair Overeem and James Thompson. The co-headlining fight is between Bellator lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez and Katsunori Kikuno.

The event marks the first time the organization holds the fights in a hexagonal cage.
