A welterweight fight between Carlos Condit and Paul Daley has been set to take place at UFC 108 on January 2 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, according to Fighters Only.

Condit, a former WEC welterweight champion, made his UFC debut in April at UFC Fight Night 18, where he lost to Martin Kampmann by split decision. The loss snapped an eight-fight win streak that Condit had previously compiled. He rebounded from the loss at UFC Fight Night 19 in September, defeating Jake Ellenberger via split decision.

Daley recently made his Octagon debut at UFC 103 in September, earning a first round TKO victory over Martin Kampmann.
