The UFC officially announced today a middleweight fight between Michael Bisping and Dennis Kang at UFC 105 on November 14 at the Manchester Evening News Arena in Manchester, England.

Bisping, the light heavyweight winner of The Ultimate Fighter 3, holds an MMA record of 17-2. He will be looking to rebound from a devastating knockout loss to Dan Henderson at UFC 100 this past July.

“Kang is a very good fighter and one of the best in the division,” Bisping said. “This is exactly the sort of fight I need to get right back up there and prove that I’m one of the top guys in the division.”

He then added, “Both Kang and I are looking to take that next step up the ladder to the top of the division, and there’s so much on the line for both of us. I have things to prove and cannot wait to go in all guns blazing in front of my hometown fans in Manchester.”

Kang is currently 1-1 in the UFC with an overall record of 32-11-1 plus 2 no contests. He last fought at UFC 97 in April, where he defeated Xavier Foupa-Pokam via unanimous decision.

The UFC also officially announced a welterweight match between Dan Hardy and Don Hyun Kim at UFC 105.
