Randy Couture vs. Brandon Vera to Possibly Headline UFC 105
Randy Couture could possibly be returning to the light heavyweight division to face Brandon Vera in the main event at UFC 105 in November, as The Sun has reported.
This would be Couture’s first return to 205 since a February 2006 knockout loss against Chuck Liddell at UFC 57.
Couture, 46 years-old, has dropped two of his last his four fights. He most recently battled Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira at UFC 102, losing by unanimous decision to “Big Nog.”
Vera, a former UFC heavyweight fighter, has won three of his four fights since moving down to 205. He also recently fought at UFC 102, defeating Krzysztof Soszynski via unanimous decision.
UFC 105 takes place on November 14 at the Manchester Evening News Arena in Manchester, England.
