Dan Henderson Believes Anderson Silva is Ducking Him
Dan Henderson, who is possibly next in line for a UFC middleweight title shot against champion Anderson Silva, has recently stated that he believes Silva is ducking a rematch against him.
Henderson said, according to SI.com:
“I think I’m the one guy that poses enough dangers [to Silva] style-wise. If I were his manager, I’d be trying not to have him fight me as well. I know that Anderson Silva is really trying not to fight me. It’s obvious.
I think he’s right in line for a title shot as well, but I feel I’ve earned that already. That’s a fight that more than likely will happen in the future, but I think right now, from the UFC’s standpoint, they shouldn’t be having me and Nate fight each other. They’re going to get stuck without any new opponents for Anderson Silva.
Silva is the only fight that interests me at 185. I said that before Nate’s fight.”

Yeah, I think Hendo is right. Silva is running scared. Hendo rained down MASSIVE damage in the first round of GnP domination in their first encounter. He left Silva panting and barely recognisable from when he entered the cage.
In the end Silva only JUST managed to destroy Hendo by the way of a lucky knee and a choke that I’m sure even Silva didn’t mean to pull off. Yep, definitely grounds for Hendo to be proud of his performance and call out Silva as scared.
Oh yeah, Silva dominates an opponent for 5 rounds and scores a decision victory and is booed no end. Yet Henderson fights to plan and puts in an ultra boring, uneventful GnP round on Silva and people site this as a major achievement. To think that he was planning on doing this for five rounds straight yet nobody has a problem with that! Gotta love the hypocrisy.
Holy man Jimbo, where is your brain buddy? I see you are obviously a huge Hendo fan and that’s cool but get your head out of the clouds. Dan did ZERO damage to Silva in the first fight Anderson simply could not hear his corner and couldn’t get out and at the same time Dan could not do anything either. It was a lame mouth cover move and a few weak hammerfists and nothing more. He also took down Anderson exactly one time in the entire fight. The other 2 attempts failed and Silva wound up on top and when Dan gave a BJJ blackbelt his back, Silva choked him TF out. Wake up Silva has a black bellt under Minatoro Nog and he subbed Hendo be cause he dazed Hendo. Dan SAID THIS IN A INTERVIEW MAN. Mark my words HENDO WILL NEVER EVER WIN ANOTHER ROUND AGAINST ANDERSON SILVA ……EVER.
Wake up and see that Hendo is avoiding Marquardt, that is what’s happening, how can you not be interested in a fight with Nate Dan? lol then there are no doubts and you get you 2nd chance at Silva. The bottom line is Dan had a lame performance against Palhares a guy with almost no stand up skills at all and got a boring and unimpressive win by unan decision. Then he IMO lost to Franklin 29-28 and I’m not alone on this, especially when you factor in that he in fact headbutted Rich AND eye poked him real bad. Then after Bisping constantly moves into Hendo’s right hand like a dozen times that was so bad that Goldie and Rogan noticed it and Bispings corner was screaming at him at the end of the round he gets a KO that he should have had the 2nd or 3rd time Bisping made the mistake. Maia made his mistake once and when it happened a secnd time Nate knocked him TF out. Dan is getting sloppy and unimpressive lately he will never beat Silva, he is NOT a challenge and frankly neither of these guys are a big enough challenge for Silva which is why they need to fight to prove who really deserves another shot at him. Get your head out of the sand. Dan will never beat Silva and quit avoiding the obvious. Silva ducks no one, he said he take on Fedor for crissakes he is NOT ducking Dan. The guy needs a challenge. You are talking like an uneducated mma fan, look at the FACTS.
