Anderson Silva Did Not Undergo Elbow Surgery

Contrary to an earlier report, UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva’s manager Ed Soares told Yahoo! Sports that Silva did not undergo elbow surgery and that he would be capable of fighting in November if the UFC offered him a fight.
The UFC currently does not have a main event for UFC 105 in Manchester, England, on November 14, so it is possible that Silva could be booked to headline the event.
It is not yet known whether or not Silva would want to move back up to light heavyweight for his next fight, or remain at middleweight to defend his title.
His last fight, which took place at UFC 101 in August, was contested at light heavyweight. He took on former UFC light heavyweight champion Forrest Griffin and defeated him via first-round knockout.
