World's Strongest Man Mariusz Pudzianowski Set to Make MMA Debut

Mariusz Pudzianowski, a record five-time World’s Strongest Man champion, has signed with Polish mixed martial arts promotion KSW, according to Polish website mmarocks.pl.

He will be making his MMA debut at KSW 12 in December.

Mariusz, who is 32 years old, retired from strongman competitions after winning his fifth World’s Strongest Man title in 2008.

He began practicing martial arts at the age of 11 and holds a fourth kyu green belt in Kyokushin Karate. He has also competed in amateur boxing for several years.

It will be interesting to see how Mariusz fares in his first MMA match.
