Strikeforce: Carano vs. Cyborg Official Weigh-In Results

The weigh-ins for Strikeforce: Carano vs. Cyborg took place today at the Marriott Hotel in San Jose, California.
All 18 fighters scheduled to compete on the event’s card successfully made weight on their first attempt, except for Jesse Taylor, who intially weighed-in at 172 pounds. He then made weight on his second attempt, weighing-in at 169.5 pounds.
Strikeforce: Carano vs. Cyborg takes place Saturday, August 15, at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California, and will be broadcasted on Showtime Sports beginning at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT.
The event is headlined by the first-ever women’s 145-pound title match between Gina Carano and Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos. Also featured on the card is a Strikeforce light heavyweight title fight between champion Renato “Babalu” Sobral and Gegard Mousasi, along with a Strikeforce interim title fight between interim champion Gilbert Melendez and Mitsuhiro Ishida.
