UFC welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre will be putting his submission skills to test at the Abu Dhabi Combat Club Submission Fighting World Championships Barcelona 2009.

St. Pierre will compete in the under 76.9 Kg division, which consists of several top grapplers including Kron Gracie and Pablo Popovich.

The event takes place September 25-27 at the Pavello Olimpic de Badalona in Badalona, Spain.

GSP last competed at the ADCC Submission Fighting World Championships in 2005, where he lost to Leo Santos via arm-bar submission.
