EA Sports to Announce Big News on MMA Video Game During August 15 Press Conference

EA Sports has announced it will be revealing big news concerning its MMA video game during a press conference scheduled for Saturday, August 15, at 12 p.m. PT.

The press conference will take place in San Jose, California, which is also where the Strikeforce: Carano vs. Cyborg event is taking place.

It is possible that EA’s announcement will involve Strikeforce and its fighters.

The game’s current roster includes Fedor Emelianenko, Renato “Babalu” Sobral, and Gegard Mousasi. All three fighters will be sporting an EA Sports sponsored logo on their fight shorts. The Strikeforce cage mat will also feature the logo.

EA Sports MMA will be released sometime in 2010 on the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles.
