Cain Velasquez Set to Fight Ben Rothwell at UFC 104

Cain Velasquez has been set to fight Ben Rothwell at UFC 104 on October 24 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, according to MMA FanHouse.
Velasquez was previously scheduled to face Shane Carwin at the event, but Carwin was taken out of the bout to instead challenge for the UFC heavyweight title against champion Brock Lesnar at UFC 106.
It is possible that Velasquez, who has a record of 6-0, could receive the next title shot if he defeats Rothwell.
Velasquez last fought this past June at UFC 99, where he earned a unanimous decision victory over Cheick Kongo.
Rothwell, who will be making his UFC debut, is coming off a first round TKO victory over Chris Guillen at Adrenaline MMA 2 in December 2008.
