A middleweight fight between Alessio Sakara and Rousimar Palhares will take place at The Ultimate Fighter 10 Finale on December 5 in Las Vegas, Nevada, according to TATAME.

The two fighters were previously scheduled to fight earlier this August at UFC 101, but a leg injury forced Palhares to pull out.

Sakara took on Thales Leites instead at UFC 101 and won via split decision. The victory marked his second win in a row.

Palhares last competed this past January at UFC 93, where he defeated mixed martial arts veteran Jeremy Horn by unanimous decision.

Prior to the victory, Palhares lost to Dan Henderson by unanimous decison in September 2008 at UFC 88. The loss ended a six-fight win streak for Palhares.
