UFC President Dana White told ESPN Radio 1100 on Friday that Tito Ortiz may be possibly returning to the organization.

White first teased the return on his Twitter account, twitter.com/danawhiteufc, prior to his appearance on the radio show. He posted “Welcome back Tito.”

He then stated on the radio show:

“Tito and I have been talking and we’ve been trying to see if we can figure things out. It’s a possibility.”

Ortiz recently underwent major back surgery and hasn’t competed since a May 2008 loss to current UFC light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida at UFC 84.
