Don Frye vs. King Mo Lawal Officially Set to Headline First-Ever M-1 Breakthrough Event On August 28

M-1 Global officially announced today a main event bout between MMA legend Don “The Predator” Frye and rising star Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal for its first-ever M-1 Breakthrough event, which will be held in conjunction with IMMAE.

The event will be part of M-1′s new premium fight series.

Also officially announced for the event is a co-main event between former BodogFIGHT welterweight champion Nick “The Goat” Thompson and vicious French striker Karl “Psycho” Amoussou.

M-1 Breakthrough will be broadcasted live on HDNet. In addition to the two co-main events, HDNet will also air five other bouts on the card.

The event takes place on August 28 at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, California.
