Dana White Confirms Winner of Carwin vs. Velasquez Gets Lesnar Next

UFC President Dana White has confirmed on ESPN First Take that the winner of the UFC 104 fight between Shane Carwin and Cain Velasquez will be next in line for a title shot against Brock Lesnar.

Carwin is currently undefeated in mixed martial arts competition with a record of 11-0. None of his fights have ever made it past the first round. He is coming off an impressive KO victory over former number one heavyweight contender Gabriel Gonzaga at UFC 96.

His UFC 104 opponent Velasquez also holds an undefeated record. He most recently defeated top contender Cheick Kongo via unanimous decison at UFC 99.
