Kimbo Slice Joins the Contestants of The Ultimate Fighter 10
Kimbo Slice, who currently holds a 3-1 MMA record, has decided to enter The Ultimate Fighter 10 as a contestant to prove his legitimacy in the sport and, ultimately, attempt to become a UFC fighter. The 35 year old Kimbo has been criticized by many as a one dimensional fighter, so it will be interesting to see how he fares against some of the other more complete mixed martial artists on the show.
This season of The Ultimate Fighter will consist of only heavyweights. Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Rashad Evans, who currently have some bad blood, will serve as the coaches. Also, several former NFL players have been set to join Slice, including Marcus Jones, Matt Mitrione, Brendan Schaub, and Wes Shivers.
The show will debut September 16th on Spike TV.
